AH-7    Northeast Intermediate School-6

The Lady Comets battled back from a five run deficit to defeat Northeast in the first game of a doubleheader. Avery Fiorillo led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a triple and Haddy Davis delivered the game winning sacrifice fly to help clinch the Division I Championship for the Lady Comets. The offense pounded out eleven hits in five innings led by Bailey Whites three hits and Riley Dempsey’s two hits. Hayley Kane drilled a double, Fiorillo ripped two triples, and Megan Heard scored twice. Heard sparked the defense and Ava Leach struck out nine to remain undefeated on the mound for the Lady Comets.
