AH Girls Jr. High Softball results-4/22/17

AH 12     Greater Nanticoke Area 8

The Lady Comets defeated Nanticoke in the first game of a doubleheader 12-8. Ava Leach struck out six to pick-up the win. Bailey White had four hits including a double and a triple. Collen Cole tripled, Meghan Van Wert, Hayley Kane, Breonna Pollack, and Riley Dempsey hit doubles. Julia Lacoe and Megan Heard had clutch singles to spark the Lady Comets third inning rally. Debbie Shurtleff speed on the bases ignited a fifth inning rally. Macey Tuffy and Meghan Van Wert led the defense to stifle the Trojanettes rally.
